By Car

From London & The North

M4 Junction 6 onto the A332 Windsor by-pass and follow the signs to Ascot.

From the West

M4 Junction 10 to the A329(M) signed to Bracknell and follow the signs to Ascot.

From the South & East

M3 Junction 3 onto the A332 signed to Bracknell and follow the signs to Ascot.

From the Midlands

M40 southbound, Junction 4. Take the A404 towards the M4 (Junction 8/9). On the M4 head towards Heathrow/London. Leave M4 at Junction 6 and follow the A332 Windsor by-pass to Ascot.

Car Parking at Ascot

Car Parking

There are more than 8,000 car parking spaces available at Ascot Racecourse.

During the jumps season (2nd November 2019 - 29th March 2020) all car parking is free of charge, and only available on the day at the racecourse. Blue Badge holders should display their badge on entry to the car park and they will be directed to a forward parking area. There is no pre-booking available for public car parks.

In the flat season, prices vary raceday-to-raceday, so please visit the Racedays & Events homepage to find out more. Car parking will be available to purchase online for all racedays during the flat season, but only up to five days before the event. After this time, all parking will only be available on the day, and payment is in cash only.

Please note: You will not be able to pre-book car parking less than five days before the event. If you miss the cut off date, you will be able to pay in cash on the day.

Forward Parking

Dedicated parking facilities are available for disabled customers displaying a Blue Badge. Customers are advised to pre-book their car parking space.

Booked a Package?

Car park labels are included with all restaurant packages. Additional labels should be purchased in advance by calling +44 (0)344 346 0346. 

Coach Drivers

Coach drivers can obtain a free Queen Anne Enclosure admission ticket for any Ascot Raceday meeting on production of their PCV or PSV licence and work docket in any Ticket Office.  For Royal Ascot, a free Heath Enclosure ticket can be obtained on production of the same documentation.

By Rail

South Western Railway runs a frequent service to Ascot from both Reading, Guildford and London Waterloo. The average journey time is 27 minutes from Reading and 52 minutes from Waterloo. The railway station is a seven-minute walk from the racecourse, via. a spacious paved path away from roads.

By Air

There is a helicopter landing facility close to the racecourse. It is not suitable for fixed-wing private aircrafts. Please call FreshAir Helicopters on +44 1869 278 244 email ascot@freshair-uk.com to arrange a landing or helicopter charter.

The two nearest airfields are Fairoaks, Chobham (+44 (0)1276 857 300) and White Waltham, Maidenhead (+44 (0)1628 823 272), which are both approximately nine miles away.
